How to Prepare for an Appliance Service Visit

A few simple details help your technician arrive prepared and make the visit easier.

Have the appliance details ready

Share the appliance brand, model number and the problem you have noticed when requesting service. A clear photo of the model label can help identify the appliance. Tell us whether the problem is constant or comes and goes, and note any displayed error code.

Make room for the visit

Clear everyday items from the area around the appliance so the technician can inspect it. Keep children and pets away from the work area during the visit. Leave appliance moving, dismantling and access decisions to the technician.

Describe what changed

Let us know when the issue started and whether anything happened shortly before it, such as a power interruption or a previous repair. Photos or a short video of an intermittent symptom can be useful. Do not take panels off or attempt to reproduce a potentially unsafe problem for a video.

Know what happens next

The technician inspects the appliance, explains the findings and presents the proposed repair price for your approval before work begins. If a part must be ordered, the team will explain the next steps. Request your visit online or call us; a team member confirms the appointment.
