Royal Star Appliance Services charges $85 for an in-home appliance diagnostic visit. The technician inspects the appliance and explains the available repair options. The diagnostic visit helps establish the issue and the proposed scope of work before you decide how to proceed.
Your approval comes before the repair
Repair labor is quoted by the job. We explain the scope and ask for your approval before starting. Parts are quoted separately. If you approve the repair, your $85 diagnostic payment is credited toward repair labor. If you decline the repair, the diagnostic fee remains due.
Some repairs need another visit
Parts availability and the work required can affect the repair timeline. If a part must be ordered, return visits for that same approved repair are included in the agreed labor price. The team will explain what is known about the next steps rather than promise a completion date before part availability is confirmed.
